Come learn with us! As the summer comes to an end, and we prepare to return to school, the new programs are beginning to take shape. We will have a Sunday School for first and second graders as well as our ulpan and the upper grades. There is room for new students in each class.
If you know of any families with children of Religious School age who are looking for a school, please call me, or the shul office. Classes will meet on Sunday mornings from 9-11:30 A.M. for the Religious School and from 9:30-11:30 A.M. for first and second graders. The time and day of the ulpan is still not settled. The Hebrew High School program will remain on Monday evenings from 6-7:30 P.M. and includes dinner and study with the Rabbi. Classes will begin on Wednesday, September 5, 2007, and I’m looking forward to seeing all of our students as they return from Summer Vacation.

The Adult Education program is also moving ahead. The Bat Mitzvah ladies are back at work and another session of the Crash Course in Hebrew Reading is starting August 6th. We will try to finish the course in the suggested 5 weeks. Anyone wanting to participate in this class or form another group, please call me, or the shul office, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

As part of our Summer Programs we have begun a monthly movie night that we hope to keep going into the fall and beyond. If you are interested in a particular film or topic, please call me, or the shul office, and we will try to accommodate your interests.

Best wishes for a happy and a healthy New Year in 5768. May the year ahead bring peace to all of Israel.
